Returns Policy
Ready to ship items (most everything except shirts) can be returned within 30 days of delivery for a full refund. All items must still be in their original packaging and any washable items must be still unwashed. Item must be back in the shop before refund will be issued. You will receive communication that your return item has been received and a refund issued. Please be aware that most banks can take up to 5 business days* to process a refund and return it to your card. The Geek Space will pay for return shipping costs ONLY if by chance you received an incorrect item.
Custom items (most shirts) are not eligible for returns due to the custom nature of the order, since it is not guaranteed to resell. Please be aware that shirt design colors CANNOT be changed, so if a dark design is ordered on a dark shirt, it will be the customer's responsibility to reorder with a different color shirt. No exceptions.
If you need to return an item, please Contact Us with your order number and details about the product you would like to return. It may take up to 2 business days (M-F) to receive a response with instructions for how to return items from your order.
Replacements Policy
In the case of damage during shipment, please provide pictures of external and internal packaging from multiple angles and any damage done specifically to the item(s) immediately upon receiving your order. These images can be sent to thegeekspacemi@gmail.com. Once damage has been assessed on our end, a replacement will be sent out.
All products are examined before creation, but sometimes a manufacturer error is missed in shirts specifically. If you find a hole along the seams/neckline of your shirt, please send pictures to thegeekspacemi@gmail.com immediately upon receiving your order. Please be careful when opening your packages to avoid nicking fabric, holes elsewhere in shirts are not eligible for replacement.
Replacements will not be provided for a wrong size or item ordered or dislike of shirt color. Please follow any wash instructions provided, as replacements will not be provided for wash damage either.
Replacement requests for any reason must be received within 2 days of package's marked arrival date shown on tracking.
Commissions Policy
Commissions requests must communicated with Zac either through email (thegeekspacemi@gmail.com) or Instagram (@thegeekspace_official) so that details do not get lost or forgotten about. For commissions valued over $50, a 50% payment will be required up front before any work begins. The rest of the payment would be due before shipment. A digital proof of your commission will be sent for approval prior to printing. At this time, you may suggest any changes you would like to be made.
Due to the custom nature of commissions, they cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded for any reason except for damages. If any damage occurs during shipment, our replacement policy stands.
Shipping
We can ship to virtually any address in the world. Note that there are restrictions on some products, and some products cannot be shipped to international destinations. If your country is not available when checking out, please email alora@uniquelygeekdesigns.com and we will get it activated.
Ready to ship items (most everything except shirts) will leave the shop within 3 business days* after an order is placed.
Anything that needs to be created upon order (most shirts, drinkware, totes) will leave the shop within 15-20 business days* after order is placed. While it is always our goal to get things out faster than that, life happens and we provide that wiggle room for our own sanity here at The Geek Space. Commissions will have their own proposed timelines that will be discussed with you by Zac during that conversation.
A tracking number will be sent to you via email when your order has shipped. Please allow up to 24 hours for that tracking number to update. Once your package has been scanned via USPS (or your chosen shipping provider), it is no longer the responsibility of The Geek Space and you must rely on USPS (or your chosen shipping provider) for updates. Please be aware of your estimated package delivery date.
If you need something held to be shipped at a later date due to vacation or any other reason, please email thegeekspacemi@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing your order or put a note within your order with the date you'd like it shipped.
*Business Days are measured with Monday-Friday only. Since The Geek Space travels for conventions on most weekends, there is no guarantee of production happening or customer service available on weekends.
